It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default. ~J.K. Rowling

Well rested for tonight’s YMM Improv.

Saturdays. Sigh. I still get excited about the end of the week. Friday mornings start with a rumor that I might be sleeping in on Saturday.

Saturday morning. Up. early. I have to work on a scholarship application for my little girl’s tuition next. Complete the summer camp form so both girls can attend PushPush Theater’s summer program.

My husband helps me. He mows the lawn. Curses at the dying lawn mower. Changes spark clubs. Decides that decking the house out in American flags is a better idea (we have an inside joke running about making our house tacky as hell every holiday opportunity we can get).

We work on our budget. Boring. Depressing. I decide to look for work. Again.

My dog licks my face. My little one hugs and blows me a kiss. Everything is beautiful.

Nap. I got a really long nap. On to the gym…

Home. Improv.

Come see our show tonight! Know that a lot went into this performance: parenting, patriotism, fiscal responsibility, pet love, and most importantly, a nap.

For our military personnel

More than 700 museums across America will offer  free admission to military personnel and their families this summer.

I like simple

I am not going to pretend I know a ton about social media. That is why I work with people who know more about the subject than I. But I like measures. I like to know that my time and energy are paying off. This quick slide show is a very simple way to measure sales results from social media. It is all about establishing a baseline.

P.S. the link did not work out as I thought it would. You have to look for the video about Social Media Measures. Good luck!
